‘Miss You’ Lyrics

If you wrote me a letter

I’d read it, standing on the avenue

But it wouldn’t sound like me

Not as good as it’s supposed to be

I wasn’t trying to miss you

But I know I did

If you left me a message

I’d listen, pulsing with a neon blue

But I wouldn’t look like me

At least not how I’m supposed to be

We both know, how to let it go

To see a name, and forget we know

If you sent me some morse code

I’d get it, but I wouldn’t beep it back to you

Commentary to follow later, maybe via podcast. Keep checking back.
